Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nanu Negi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Negi has chosen Blue eyes as his entrance music. Carlos Fierro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nanu Negi!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negi throws a leg kick which misses Fierro's front leg but catches the back leg as Fierro tries to avoid it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Negi - that will leave a mark!
Fierro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fierro throws a lazy head kick
and Negi counters with an outside leg kick.
Negi scores with a spinning back kick!
Negi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Negi closes the distance and clinches up with Fierro, looking for a takedown. Negi pushes Fierro against the cage but Fierro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Negi throws a low kick but Fierro moves out of range easily.
Fierro moves out of range of the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fierro ducks under a wild hook from Negi.

Fierro closes the distance and clinches.
Fierro has Negi pressed against the cage.
Fierro lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Negi backwards.

Fierro blocks a body shot from Negi.
Fierro gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Negi.
Fierro is pushing Negi up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

A right hook to the body lands for Negi.
Fierro's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
