Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomaz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Jackson counters with a head kick that drops Gomaz to the mat! Gomaz scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Gomaz is rocked!

Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Gomaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gomaz blocks an elbow strike from Jackson.
Gomaz seems to have got his legs back now.

Gomaz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jackson tries to land a knee to the head but Gomaz blocks with his arms.

Jackson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gomaz can't fight it off and eventually Jackson manages to take the fight to the floor. Gomaz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gomaz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jackson doesn't defend quickly enough and Gomaz has managed to lock this one up! Can Jackson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gomaz on a fantastic submission victory.
