The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wani avoids the head kick by Von Panzerhosen.
Von Panzerhosen gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Wani counters with a body kick that stops Von Panzerhosen in his tracks momentarily.
Von Panzerhosen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Von Panzerhosen scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Von Panzerhosen avoids the body shot from Wani.
Von Panzerhosen slips under a jab.
Wani misses with a double jab.
Wani lands the left hand.
Von Panzerhosen defending well as Wani loads up on a big left hand.
Von Panzerhosen appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Von Panzerhosen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A bone on bone clash there as Von Panzerhosen blocks the leg kick.
Wani throws a right and a left that both miss.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wani lands a nice looking body kick.
A big right from Wani misses.

Von Panzerhosen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wani swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wani throws a low kick, looking for Von Panzerhosen's leg but Von Panzerhosen calmly moves out of range.
Von Panzerhosen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wani.
Wani misses with an uppercut.
Von Panzerhosen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wani.
Von Panzerhosen looks to score with a jab to the body but Wani is just out of range.
Wani is trying to counter with his kicks.
Wani dips to his left and cracks Von Panzerhosen with an uppercut!

Algot Von Panzerhosen's cut is getting worse.
Wani has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Von Panzerhosen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wani misses with a left hand
and Von Panzerhosen counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Wani misses with a body shot.
Wani smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Wani dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Von Panzerhosen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Von Panzerhosen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wani lands a big uppercut and Von Panzerhosen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Von Panzerhosen looks OK. Wani waves Von Panzerhosen back to his feet!

Von Panzerhosen is rocked!

Algot Von Panzerhosen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Von Panzerhosen glances at the clock... BAM! Wani nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Von Panzerhosen crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Von Panzerhosen is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Paul Wani!
A relieved looking John Paul Wani thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
