Nurmagomedov lands a high kick!
Pesqueira takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nurmagomedov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nurmagomedov duly obliges.
Nurmagomedov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nurmagomedov misses with a double jab

and Pesqueira counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nurmagomedov!
Pesqueira is trying to ground and pound but Nurmagomedov uses the momentary lack of control by Pesqueira to regain half guard.
Nurmagomedov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nurmagomedov tries to get out of the position.

Pesqueira lands strikes from half guard.
Pesqueira throws a strike but Nurmagomedov avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Nurmagomedov has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Pesqueira is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Pesqueira has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Nurmagomedov is trying to keep an underhook but Pesqueira manages to get the takedown into half guard.
