Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Bamusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Farinola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farinola is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eye of the Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Farinola!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bamusto.
Farinola dives in and grabs Bamusto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bamusto pushes down on Farinola's head and hops out.
Farinola tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bamusto defends well and Farinola ends up having to push Bamusto into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bamusto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bamusto looks for a takedown but Farinola sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Augusto Bamusto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farinola drives through and clinches with Bamusto against the cage.
Farinola jumps into guard, dragging Bamusto to the mat.
Farinola preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bamusto postures up in Farinola's guard and throws a big left but Farinola blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bamusto is in close to Farinola's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Bamusto drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Farinola dives on top into guard.

Bamusto is trying to control the position but Farinola postures up.
Farinola got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bamusto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Farinola has managed to get both his arms back between Bamusto's legs - danger averted.

Bamusto is pulling down on Farinola's head. It's preventing any offense from Farinola, at least for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bamusto holds on and takes a little breather.
Farinola stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Bamusto has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Farinola manages to get his head free but now Bamusto has transitioned to an armbar! Farinola grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Bamusto! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
