These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hardin Jr with that takedown attempt.
Dogwood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dogwood was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hardin Jr takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Dogwood misses with a low kick as Hardin Jr jumps back.
Dogwood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hardin Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Hardin Jr on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Dogwood is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hardin Jr.
Nice uppercut lands for Hardin Jr. That snapped Dogwood's head back.

Hardin Jr forces Dogwood back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dogwood using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hardin Jr has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dogwood working some nice short punches in the clinch.
