Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stewart Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Hair of the Dog/ Nazareth. Uzannavabizch has chosen Brandon Loveladdy's band WE ARE THE CHOSEN : BREAKING THE KARMIC CYCLE as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Stewart Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzannavabizch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hunter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.
Uzannavabizch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunter throws out the jab.
Hunter misses with a double jab.
Uzannavabizch attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Uzannavabizch stuffs the takedown attempt from Hunter. Hunter gets slowly back to his feet.
Uzannavabizch shoots and misses
and Hunter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Uzannavabizch lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Uzannavabizch lands a slapping body shot.

Hunter clinches up against the cage.
Hunter fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hunter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Uzannavabizch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hunter misses with a short punch on the inside.

Uzannavabizch pulls guard effortlessly.
Hunter throwing strikes but missing.
Hunter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hunter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Uzannavabizch is on top in guard.

Hunter looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Uzannavabizch won't allow Hunter to sweep him here.
Hunter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Uzannavabizch's guard.

Hunter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uzannavabizch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunter has managed to get both his arms back between Uzannavabizch's legs - danger averted.

Uzannavabizch tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Uzannavabizch is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunter wants to control from the top but Uzannavabizch keeps moving.
Hunter is looking to work some ground and pound but Uzannavabizch has wrist control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Uzannavabizch trying to keep a closed guard but Hunter is proving a slippery customer.

Uzannavabizch moves out of range of the strikes.
Hunter has a takedown stuffed.
Hunter fails with the takedown.
Uzannavabizch was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Hunter checks the leg kick nicely there.
Uzannavabizch lands a high kick!
Hunter closes the distance and clinches up with Uzannavabizch, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes Uzannavabizch against the cage but Uzannavabizch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stewart Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Uzannavabizch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hunter feinted with a counter takedown.
Uzannavabizch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uzannavabizch as he jumps to the side.
Hunter slips a straight right by Uzannavabizch.

Hunter looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Uzannavabizch!
Hunter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Uzannavabizch keeps working.

Uzannavabizch takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Hunter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Uzannavabizch some visible discomfort.
