The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metaalic feints and as Hooj raises his hands in defense, Metaalic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Metaalic working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hooj's head.
Metaalic postures up and lands a big shot to Hooj's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Metaalic preventing the sweep.
Metaalic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hooj trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Metaalic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hooj's guard.
Metaalic is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hooj!
Metaalic lands a big elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Metaalic cracks Hooj with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
A nice elbow there by Metaalic.
Hooj is rocked!
Metaalic postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hooj in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hooj to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
