The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws a nice looking combination but Mallox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Richards misses with a takedown attempt
and Mallox counters by moving into the clinch.

Mallox creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Richards's defenses.
