Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JB Brubaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JB Brubaker!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parks takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Brubaker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brubaker throws a push kick but Parks slaps the foot to one side.
Parks swings away with a body shot that misses
and Brubaker counters with a good low kick that Parks was not able to check.
Parks stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brubaker.

Parks looks to score with a jab to the body but Brubaker is just out of range.
Brubaker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parks moves away.
Parks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Brubaker misses with a lunging right hand
and Parks counters with a nice uppercut.
Brubaker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parks connects with a nice looking jab.
Brubaker is rocked!

Parks on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Parks misses with a jab to the body
and Brubaker counters with a low kick, right behind Parks 's knee.
Brubaker misses with a kick to the body.
Parks throwing a counter right hand but Brubaker manages to avoid it.
Parks jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Parks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brubaker moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brubaker! But no joy.
Parks closes the distance but Brubaker moves to the side
and Brubaker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brubaker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Parks throws an overhand right that lands on Brubaker's shoulder, as Brubaker tries to avoid the shot.
Brubaker let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Brubaker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brubaker throws a looping overhand right but Parks ducks down to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping leg kick lands for Brubaker.
Parks wants to clinch but Brubaker slips to the side
and Brubaker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Brubaker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brubaker thows a leg kick but Parks checks it
and Parks counters with a huge left! Brubaker is in big trouble! He's backing up but Parks isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Brubaker from any more damage. A dominating finish by Parks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lyoto Parks!
