Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Blazing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Albert Hoffman !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Blazing!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blazing misses with a low kick as Hoffman jumps back.
Blazing looks to land a combination but Hoffman avoids it well.
Hoffman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hoffman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blazing swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Blazing does no damage.
Hoffman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Hoffman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blazing throws a combination that misses
and Hoffman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hoffman tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hoffman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Blazing gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hoffman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blazing trying to control the position.
Hoffman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hoffman pushes down on Blazing's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hoffman is working for a kimura but Blazing is defending it quite comfortably.
Blazing tries to roll over but Hoffman keeps him under control.
Hoffman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blazing doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hoffman .
Hoffman wants to pass to mount but Blazing is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hoffman is working hard here to advance position.
Hoffman is trying for a kimura here. Blazing looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hoffman wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Albert Hoffman !
