Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kicky McLegs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zander Harland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harland has chosen Bawitdaba as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kicky McLegs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zander Harland!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLegs lands an overhand right.
Harland ducks under a wild hook from McLegs.
McLegs misses with a hook. Harland ducked under it nicely.
McLegs lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Donk. McLegs catches Harland right on the button with a cross.
A telegraphed right hand from McLegs misses the target.
The fighters circling - Harland throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jab, jab by Harland - just one landing.

Harland closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harland creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McLegs sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

McLegs tries to improve position but can't.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harland working his ground and pound in the gym.
McLegs is not content to let Harland control the position.

Harland is looking to take a break and control but McLegs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Harland cracks McLegs with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Harland lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear McLegs down.
McLegs is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Brown House that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
McLegs is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Harland working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Harland postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Harland grinds an elbow into McLegs's temple.
McLegs parries the strikes from Harland easily there. Harland is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable McLegs to escape.
McLegs takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

The ground and pound from Harland seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Harland throws an elbow but McLegs slips to the side and avoids it well.
Harland postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Harland tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Harland scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at McLegs to see if he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McLegs is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

McLegs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harland on the ground.

Harland looks up at the clock and then as McLegs takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Harland smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harland cracks McLegs with a big right hand but McLegs just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harland connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McLegs some visible discomfort.
McLegs wants to control but Harland postures up.
Harland has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McLegs takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Harland in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and McLegs looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Harland turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zander Harland!
A very excited looking Zander Harland made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
