The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrimony throws a right hand that Damballah ducks under and follows up with a left that Damballah also avoids with ease.
A combination from Damballah does no damage.
Damballah fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Matrimony moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hate Matrimony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damballah shoots in for a takedown but Matrimony shows good takedown defense.
Matrimony throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Damballah throws a counter combo.
Damballah lands an overhand right.
Damballah scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Damballah shoots in looking for a takedown but Matrimony manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Damballah's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
