Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Luiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ipad Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ipad Apple!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luiz has taken the fight to the clinch.
Luiz tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Apple's elbow.
Apple missing with knees to the body.

Luiz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Luiz sizes up Apple with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Luiz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Apple tries to counter with a clinch but Luiz shakes him off and moves away.
Apple shoots in but no luck this time.
Luiz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Apple stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've been told by Luiz's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Apple shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luiz as he jumps to the side.
Apple throws a left and a right that both miss

and Luiz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Luiz.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Luiz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A left lands for Apple.
Luiz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Ipad Apple has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luiz throws a good cross that connects.
Apple closes the distance and clinches up with Luiz, looking for a takedown. Apple pushes Luiz against the cage but Luiz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ipad Apple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luiz throws a right and a left that Apple avoids nicely.
Apple changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luiz tries to avoid it but Apple manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luiz to the ground. Luiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Luiz was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Apple really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Luiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Apple tries to close the distance and clinch up but Luiz swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Apple darts in looking for a takedown but Luiz gets double underhooks and turns Apple into the cage.
