The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a hook.
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gullion throws a counter combo.
Gullion bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gullion avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gullion counters with a body kick.
Gullion throws a head kick that Gracie semi-blocks.

It looks like Ceaser Gracie has been cut.

Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Gullion throws a leg kick which misses Gracie's front leg but catches the back leg as Gracie tries to avoid it.

Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gullion sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gullion - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gullion. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gullion uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gracie has time to react.

Gullion throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gullion manages to avoid it.

It looked like Gracie wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gracie will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gullion to score with a decent uppercut.

enabling Gullion to counter with a crisp jab.
Ceaser Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Gullion feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
Gullion moves into range and connects with a jab.

Gracie throws a jab when Gullion was well out of range.
Gullion lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie avoids the head kick by Gullion.

Gullion lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Gullion takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Olliver Gullion is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gullion.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
Gracie takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Gullion is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gracie had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Gracie sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Gracie might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

A very excited looking Olliver Gullion rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
