The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Parker or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyrmaaja, which made it look bad.

Tyrmaaja tries to keep at a distance but Parker has taken the fight into the clinch.

Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tyrmaaja shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tyrmaaja was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Parker tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tyrmaaja presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Tyrmaaja is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Parker is looking to get to half guard.

Parker is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Parker bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Tyrmaaja is looking to stand up but Parker isn't so interested in that idea.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tyrmaaja is on top in guard.

Parker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tyrmaaja controls the pace.

Tyrmaaja stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Parker throws up his legs and catches Tyrmaaja in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Tyrmaaja tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Parker! That came out of nowhere!
