Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone . The key to victory for Sterling Archer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Halo!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Halo.
Halo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Archer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Halo.


It looks like Arthur Halo has been cut.
Archer throws a low kick, looking for Halo's leg but Halo calmly moves out of range.
Halo misses with a wild combination.
Archer throws a right and a left that Halo avoids nicely.
Archer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Halo throws a big shot that misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Halo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Arthur Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Archer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Halo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Archer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Archer. Halo shrugs it off though.
Archer feints and then cracks Halo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Halo down.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Archer is looking to wear down Halo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Halo throws an off balance right hand
and Archer counters with a nice leg kick.
The fighters circle, before Archer throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Halo's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Archer lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Our winner, Sterling Archer, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
