Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acevedo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Masters to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Acevedo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Masters trying to control the position from guard on top but Acevedo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Masters sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Acevedo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Masters is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Masters is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Acevedo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Masters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Masters is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Acevedo has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Acevedo pushes Masters off looking to stand but Masters dives back in and keeps control.
Masters works his way into full mount!
Masters has control of Acevedo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Acevedo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Acevedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Masters on the ground.
Masters swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Acevedo is now in Masters's guard. A big mistake from Masters there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Acevedo is sitting in close to Masters's body. Masters has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Acevedo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Acevedo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Masters.
