The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon avoids a punch combination nicely.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sammich has eaten all the pies!

Deleon swings wildly with an uppercut but Sammich uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sammich wants to get back to striking at distance but Deleon won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sammich looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Deleon striking off his back but it's not causing Sammich any problems.
Sammich wants to stand but Deleon is controlling his posture from full guard.
Sammich stops Deleon from standing up.

Deleon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Deleon is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sammich postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Deleon to stand up.
Deleon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sammich throws out the jab.
Deleon wants to clinch but Sammich slips to the side

and Sammich counters with a nice right hand that sends Deleon toppling to the canvas! Deleon scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sammich finish him?!

Sammich lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Deleon - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Sammich!
