Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daken Akihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dickie Dirty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dirty comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dear Penis - Country song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dickie Dirty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dirty throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've been told by Akihiro's head coaches at Mary Gracies Jiu Jitsu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Dirty darts in looking for a takedown but Akihiro gets double underhooks and turns Dirty into the cage.

Akihiro cracks Dirty with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Akihiro has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dirty to stand back up!

It looks like Dickie Dirty has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That kick from Akihiro tenderised Dirty's leg. Dirty is trying to keep his angry face on.
