Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lopez jumps guard but Hunt stands there with Lopez around his waist. Lopez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hunt takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hunt misses with a punch on the inside.
Lopez misses with a knee strike.
Lopez using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hunt is breathing heavily.

We've been hearing reports that Hunt has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lopez manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Lopez wants to stand and escape but Hunt is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lopez is wriggling around but Hunt manages to pass to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lopez wants to get back to full guard.

Lopez is trying to escape back to his feet but Hunt uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Hunt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lopez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hunt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lopez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hunt asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Hunt staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hunt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hunt is working to tighten his grip on Lopez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lopez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hunt is really squeezing tight and eventually Lopez passes out! Hunt breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
