Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Victorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victorio comes to the cage accompanied by Guano Apes - Open your eyes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nokia tries to sprawl but Victorio drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Victorio works his way into side control.

Victorio has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Victorio feints and as Nokia raises his hands in defense, Victorio changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Victorio postures up in Nokia's guard and throws a big left but Nokia blocks it.
Nokia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Victorio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Victorio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nokia for as long as he can get away with.
Victorio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Victorio is looking for a triangle but Nokia pushes his legs off easily.
