The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yount works the jab nicely.
Tyyp tries to land a front kick but Yount steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Yount shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yount showed some decent athleticism there.
Tyyp is positioning himself well to prevent Yount advancing to mount.
Tyyp works his way to full guard. Good work.
Tyyp is trying to control the position but Yount postures up.
Tyyp can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Yount controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyyp wants to hit a switch here but Yount passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tyyp there!
Tyyp is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Yount looking to ground and pound but Tyyp is blocking nicely.
Poor strikes thrown by Yount there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Yount takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tyyp wants to control but Yount is having none of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Tyyp misses with a head kick.
Yount thuds his right hand into Tyyp's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Yount jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Yount fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tyyp checks it well.
A left and a right from Tyyp both land. Nice combination.
Yount has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tyyp finds it's way round the side to connect with Yount's head.
Tyyp lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Robin Yount has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tyyp.
Yount blocks a head kick by Tyyp.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yount dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tyyp. That did some damage!
Tyyp lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyyp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yount swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A little jabbing left from Yount on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Yount feints and then cracks Tyyp's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tyyp down.
Yount is looking to score with low kicks.
Yount throws a poor cross that misses
and Yount takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tyyp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Yount uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tyyp.
Tyyp misses the shot to the body.
Tyyp takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Yount scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Tyyp lands with an uppercut that bounces Yount off the cage and back into range.
Tyyp takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tyyp is looking to land body kicks.
Yount fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Tyyp tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyyp looks to land a left hand but Yount moved out of range nicely.

Yount drops Tyyp with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tyyp looks back up at him and smiles so Yount waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Tyyp is rocked!
Tyyp is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Yount doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Tyyp crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Tyyp's bad books for that mishap!

After winning the bout, Robin Yount thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
