Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Gregory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Davro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gregory gets caught flat footed, as Davro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Davro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Davro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gregory throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Davro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gregory was covering up waiting for the punch and Davro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gregory wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Davro manages to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Davro is controlling the pace.
Gregory wants to improve his position but Davro is controlling well.

Gregory scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Davro manages to mount him!
Davro postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gregory looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Dwayne Gregory has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davro avoids the attempt from Gregory to control.
Gregory srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
Davro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Davro. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Davro is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gregory defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Davro has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Gregory's body.
Davro is punishing Gregory with some ground and pound.

I really don't envy Gregory right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gregory grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Davro is persistently looking for the submission but Gregory is defending it well.
Bobby Davro has got the better of the ground game so far.

Davro is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gregory knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gregory for a finish.

Davro is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gregory has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Davro is looking to defend but Gregory has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Davro! Gregory pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Davro taps out and this one is all over!
