Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Achilles Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waldemir Warzecha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonidas comes to the cage accompanied by Best of Me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Waldemir Warzecha!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Leonidas duly obliges.

It looks like Waldemir Warzecha has been cut.
Leonidas misses with a head kick.
Leonidas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Warzecha fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Leonidas avoids it really well and circles away.
Leonidas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonidas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Warzecha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Leonidas's head coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Warzecha is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Achilles Leonidas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leonidas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Warzecha.
Leonidas seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Leonidas slips a straight right by Warzecha.
Leonidas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Warzecha.
Leonidas throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Warzecha.
Leonidas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And Warzecha tries to counter it with a takedown but Leonidas pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Warzecha drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Leonidas defends it well.
Leonidas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Warzecha lands a nice looking body shot.
Warzecha lands with a kick to the temple. Leonidas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Achilles Leonidas has been cut.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Warzecha shoots in but no luck this time.
Achilles Leonidas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waldemir Warzecha.
Warzecha misses with an uppercut. Leonidas saw that one coming.
Warzecha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leonidas but Leonidas pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Leonidas is looking for a counter combo.
Waldemir Warzecha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warzecha blocks a head kick by Leonidas.
Nice takedown defense from Leonidas. No joy for Warzecha on that attempt.

Warzecha connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Leonidas to the floor! Warzecha dives in looking for the finish!

Leonidas is trying desperately to improve position.

Warzecha drops a big elbow. That's hurt Leonidas! More shots from Warzecha and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Waldemir Warzecha thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
