Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julio El Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julio El Toro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fynn gets in close and instigates a clinch.
El Toro looking to throw knees to the head but Fynn is blocking nicely.
Fynn is trying to force a seperation but El Toro has the dominant position.
El Toro tries to land knees in the clinch but Fynn avoids the damage to the body.

El Toro gets control of Fynn's arms and successfully pulls guard. El Toro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

El Toro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fynn is aware though and is defending well.

El Toro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fynn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
El Toro trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Fynn got a little sloppy there for a moment and El Toro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fynn has managed to get both his arms back between El Toro's legs - danger averted.

El Toro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fynn defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fynn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fynn working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

El Toro throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fynn uses it to pass to side control.

Fynn in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... El Toro is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
