The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson avoids the head kick by Clements.
Hudson tries to counter with a clinch but Clements shakes him off and moves away.

Hudson closes the distance and clinches up with Clements, looking for a takedown. Hudson pushes Clements against the cage but Clements circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Clements takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Clements connects with a nice short shot to Hudson's temple.

Clements is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hudson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Clements is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hudson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hudson shrugs it off.

Clements is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

It looked like Clements was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
