Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Axel Whitecoat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitecoat's entrance music is Seven Nation Army. A fine choice. Scott has chosen Wildboy as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Axel Whitecoat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Maximus Scott!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in for a takedown but Whitecoat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Whitecoat keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Whitecoat lands with a cross.
Whitecoat throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Maximus Scott has been cut.

Whitecoat gets a double leg takedown into Scott's guard.

Whitecoat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Whitecoat has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.

Whitecoat avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Whitecoat has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Scott wants to get back to his feet but Whitecoat is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Scott has his foot on Whitecoat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Whitecoat works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Scott had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Whitecoat defends it easily.

Scott has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Whitecoat is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Scott.

That has opened up Maximus Scott's cut even more.

The cut above Maximus Scott's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Scott manages to work his way to half guard, despite Whitecoat's best efforts.
Scott tries to get to full guard but Whitecoat has control of the leg.

Whitecoat has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Scott is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Whitecoat's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Whitecoat's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Whitecoat is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

We've been informed that Scott has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Well, with Scott on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Whitecoat is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's time! Whitecoat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Scott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Whitecoat throws out the jab.
Horrible takedown attempt by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Whitecoat, which made it look bad.

Whitecoat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it.

Axel Whitecoat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximus Scott.

Scott looks like he wants to counter punch here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Whitecoat throws a looping overhand right but Scott ducks down to avoid it.
Scott tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Whitecoat tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Whitecoat to the ground. Whitecoat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Whitecoat misses the shot to the body.
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but Whitecoat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Whitecoat lands with a straight right. Scott didn't see that one coming.

Maximus Scott's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Whitecoat manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Axel Whitecoat overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Scott drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scott jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Whitecoat manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scott manages to get himself to full guard.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Axel Whitecoat!
Axel Whitecoat made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'That's four victims in a row now...I will fight whomever BFT puts in front of me next. Aussie Aussie Aussie!!! Oi Oi Oi!!!'.
Maximus Scott spoke after the fight, saying 'Well, that didn't go as planned!'.
