The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh throws a leg kick but Yuudai sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Yuudai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Singh lands a jab to the nose.
Singh leaves Yuudai with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yuudai thows a left - swing and a miss!
Yuudai misses the jab.
Singh throws a big counter combination but Yuudai scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Yuudai moves out of range of the strikes.
Yuudai jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
No luck for Yuudai with that takedown attempt.
Yuudai scores with a sloppy right hand. Singh should have avoided that one.
Singh keeps the fight on the outside.
Yuudai darts in looking for a takedown but Singh gets double underhooks and turns Yuudai into the cage.
Sanjay Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenta Yuudai.

Yuudai shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Singh napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Yuudai stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Singh throws a solid leg kick but Yuudai takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Singh.

Yuudai closes the distance and pushes Singh back into the cage.

Yuudai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yuudai is trying hard to land a takedown here. Singh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Yuudai misses with a wild body shot.

Yuudai is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Singh's half guard.

Singh kicks Yuudai off and gets back to his feet.

Singh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Singh slaps away a takedown attempt from Yuudai, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Yuudai slips a straight right by Singh.
Yuudai tries to clinch but Singh is having none of it.
Singh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Yuudai forces Singh back against the cage and clinches.
Singh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Singh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kenta Yuudai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Singh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yuudai.
Singh missing with a left hand there. Yuudai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Singh takes one to the chin there.
The fighters circle, before Yuudai throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Singh's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Yuudai lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
