Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Third Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Barbu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

I was talking to Fist's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Fist lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Barbu backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Benjamin Barbu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Third Fist spoke after the fight, saying 'Did you fart or is that your breath??'.
