PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arlan Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snuka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Superfly by Curtis Mayfield. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snuka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Castro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snuka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Castro is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Snuka walks into a straight right hand from Castro.
Castro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Snuka isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Castro stacks Snuka on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Castro!

That was a close second round but I would say that Arlan Castro will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Castro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snuka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Snuka is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Castro is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Castro has escaped and now he's on top!

Castro passes Snuka's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy Snuka.
