Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bad Idea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Idea has chosen Boss of All Bosses as his entrance music. Donnie Jackson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bad Idea's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson stuns Idea with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at UHK, Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Idea enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Idea manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Idea swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jackson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Idea keeps moving.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Idea gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jackson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Idea has passed into side control.
Idea postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Idea's coach down at Gutz Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Idea's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Idea in a clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Donnie Jackson will probably get the nod.

Idea tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather.

Idea got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Idea has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Idea feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Idea changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Idea stacks Jackson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Idea!

Idea lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jackson down.

Bad Idea showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Idea fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.
Jackson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
