Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Attila Skif!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skif throws a sloppy head kick and Newell moves out of range easily.
Skif with a hook.
Skif uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Newell.
Newell slips under a jab from Skif.
Skif feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Newells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Newell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Newell throws a strike but Skif rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Newell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
It looks like Skif is going to stand back up.
Newell has his hands clasped together around Skif's back. He's all about the action.
Skif slows the pace down in half guard.
Newell is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Skif jumps into side control!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Myles Newell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Newell throws a lazy right hand but Skif sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Newell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skif.
Skif scores with a hook to the body. Newell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Skif throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Newell appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Newell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

enabling Skif to counter with a crisp jab.
Skif fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Newell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Skif lands a left and a right that send Newell crashing to the mat, dazed. Skif thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Newell is rocked!

It looks like Myles Newell has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skif lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
