Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randolph Turpin!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borschev connects with a crisp jab.
Borschev moves out of range of the strikes.
Turpin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Borschev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Borschev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Turpin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Borschev scores with a decent looking hook.
Turpin fails to land with a series of punches.
Borschev lets loose with a powerful body kick. Turpin will feel that in the morning.
We've been informed that Turpin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Turpin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Borschev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Borschev is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Borschev lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Turpin backwards.
Borschev lands with a left to the head.
Turpin tries to break the clinch but Borschev is controlling the position.
A body shot lands from Turpin.
Borschev can't find room to land a body shot as Turpin controls the action.
Turpin lands with a light punch inside.

Turpin manages to break the clinch.
Borschev slips a straight right by Turpin.
Turpin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Borschev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Turpin.
Borschev tries to work over Turpin's front leg with a kick but Turpin checks it.
Turpin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Borschev with a body shot.
Borschev slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Borschev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Turpin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Turpin loads up on a big right hand but Borschev slips the punch.

Borschev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Borschev throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Borschev throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Turpin connects with a looping right hand.
Borschev's corner calls for a 1-2. Borschev obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Turpin slips under a jab from Borschev.
Borschev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turpin.
Turpin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turpin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turpin lands a body shot.
Borschev is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Borschev thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Turpin if he has to take too many more of those.
Borschev moves into range and connects with a jab.

Borschev blocks a jab.
Borschev shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Borschev gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Turpin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Borschev slips under a jab from Turpin.
Borschev misses with an attempted mid kick.
Turpin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Borschev to score with a decent uppercut.

Turpin lands a big right hand that sends Borschev crashing to the mat! Turpin stays standing though and waves Borschev back to his feet!


Borschev is rocked!
Turpin cracks Borschev with a hook to the temple - Borschev is on wobbly legs here! Turpin swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Borschev falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Turpin wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Randolph Turpin!
Randolph Turpin made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Great, I'm Syn Number 2, but I am Bowdries bitch! Fuck!'.
