Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Domani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the ring accompanied by Jocelyn Alice - Jackpot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith with a hook.
Smith tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Domani manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Domani lands a head shot.
Smith missing with a left hand there. Domani was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Domani drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Domani misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Domani moves into range and clinches up with Smith.
Smith is trying to break free.
Smith has a couple of punches blocked by Domani .
Domani can't find room to land a body shot as Smith controls the action.
A head punch on the inside from Smith fails to land.
Domani lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Smith tries a body shot but Domani blocks it.
Smith tries to work over Domani 's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Domani scores with a hook to the body.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith misses with a hook to the ribs.
Domani presses Smith against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Smith is trying to break the clinch but Domani is controlling him.
Domani gets through Smith's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Domani works on Smith's body with a couple of short punches.

Domani has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Smith seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Domani can turn it around.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Domani creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Smith drops his hands momentarily and Domani takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Domani is just out of range.
Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Smith on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Domani wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jab, jab by Domani - just one landing.
Smith is rocked!
Domani uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Domani looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Domani gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Domani !
