Calvin McGrath struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The key to victory for Marcus Kingston has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston falls off balance throwing a combination

and McGrath counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kingston won't be happy with that.

Kingston throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Kingston cracks McGrath with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Calvin McGrath has been cut.
A punch combination from McGrath misses.
Kingston misses with a double jab.
And McGrath tries to counter it with a takedown but Kingston pushes his down on his head and steps out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kingston lands a left and a right that send McGrath crashing to the mat, dazed. Kingston thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

McGrath is rocked!
McGrath looks winded!
Kingston lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens McGrath up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kingston from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw McGrath's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
