Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arshnoor Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh has chosen 2Pac - Hit 'Em Up as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Renzo Alves !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arshnoor Singh!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh throws a nice inside leg kick.
Singh misses with a low kick.
Alves uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Singh has time to react.


It looks like Arshnoor Singh has been cut.
Alves gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Singh counters with a stiff right hand.
Singh throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Singh stuffs the takedown attempt from Alves . Alves gets slowly back to his feet.
Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Singh tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Alves fails with a takedown attempt.
Singh tests Alves 's chin there with a solid looking shot.


It looks like Renzo Alves has been cut.
Alves has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Singh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Singh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Singh takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Alves misses with an uppercut.

Alves throws a sloppy head kick and Singh moves out of range easily.
Singh dodges the punch combination from Alves .
Nice defenses there by Singh.
Alves fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Singh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Singh stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renzo Alves . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alves looks to land a combination. Singh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Renzo Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Singh.
Singh takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Alves shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Alves was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Alves throws an elbow but Singh slips to the side and avoids it well.
Alves cracks Singh with a big right hand but Singh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Alves tries to score with some ground and pound. Singh controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Alves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Singh is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Alves has just dragged him back down to the mat.

You can see the frustration on Singh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Alves working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alves tries to score with some ground and pound. Singh controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Alves throws an elbow but Singh slips to the side and avoids it well.
Alves misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Alves looks up at the clock and then as Singh takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Alves smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Singh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Alves throwing strikes but Singh manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alves tries to improve position but can't.
Singh is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Alves will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Alves manages to get back to half guard.
Alves wants to control but Singh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Singh throws a big counter head kick but Alves avoids it with no problem.
Alves darts in looking for a takedown but Singh gets double underhooks and turns Alves into the cage.
Alves throws a series of punches but Singh avoids them all with ease.
Singh looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Alves takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Singh takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alves throws a lazy right hand but Singh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Singh punishes Alves 's body with a nice straight punch.
Singh throws a low kick but Alves moves out of range easily.
Singh connects with a right hand. Alves shakes it off.
Alves waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Singh.
Singh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Singh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alves .
Alves throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alves throws a lazy right hand but Singh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Alves looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Arshnoor Singh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Alves is rocked!
Singh throws a leg kick which misses Alves 's front leg but catches the back leg as Alves tries to avoid it.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Singh moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Singh scores with a decent looking hook.
Singh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Singh's waist but Singh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Singh! But no joy.
Singh lets loose with a powerful body kick. Alves will feel that in the morning.
Singh drops Alves with a big left hand! Alves is injured, injured bad! Singh jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arshnoor Singh!
A relieved looking Arshnoor Singh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
