Garfunkel has chosen Haifisch as his entrance music. Karol Cropp had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karol Cropp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Garfunkel!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cropp on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Garfunkel misses with a looping left.
Cropp throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Garfunkel slips under a jab from Cropp.
Garfunkel throws a looping overhand right but Cropp ducks down to avoid it.
Cropp is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Cropp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Cropp has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Garfunkel looks to land a body kick but Cropp moved away.
Cropp throws a hook to the side of Garfunkel's head but Garfunkel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Some bone on bone action there as Garfunkel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

It looks like Frank Garfunkel has been cut.
Cropp missing with a left hand there. Garfunkel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Karol Cropp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looked like Cropp wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Garfunkel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cropp sprawls well initially but Garfunkel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
