Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Chernokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfred Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chernokov comes to the cage accompanied by Disaster strikes - Mushroom cloud. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Kingston is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Chernokov gets his way!
Chernokov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Chernokov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kingston is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Kingston is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chernokov defends well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kingston parries the strikes from Chernokov easily there. Chernokov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kingston to escape.
