John Murray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Alaniz dives in and grabs Murray's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murray pushes down on Alaniz's head and hops out.
It seemed like Murray was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've been hearing good reports from Alaniz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Alaniz gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Alaniz tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Murray is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Alaniz buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Alaniz!! Alaniz is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Murray throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

John Murray gave a mention to Bullet Proof System in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
In defeat, Charlie Alaniz stepped up to the mic, saying 'congratulations, who will the next one to beat me?'.
