The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fandango loads up on a big right hand but Ericsson slips the punch.
Fandango shoots for a takedown but Ericsson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ericsson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ericsson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ericsson.
Ericsson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fandango.
Fandango takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fandango has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Babushka Fandango has been cut.
Fandango changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ericsson tries to avoid it but Fandango manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ericsson to the ground. Ericsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ericsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Babushka Fandango. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fandango will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
