Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boris Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genady Ricky C (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genady Ricky C has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricky C fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Donovan is out of range.

Ricky C looking to score a takedown here. Donovan is defending well but Ricky C drives through and ends up in Donovan's guard.
Ricky C throws a strike but Donovan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Donovan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ricky C is in a horrible position here. Donovan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Donovan throws some wild stikes that Ricky C manages to avoid easily.
Donovan lands a big elbow.
Donovan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ricky C looks a forlorn figure.

Donovan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Donovan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Donovan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ricky C manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Donovan manages to get himself to full guard.

Ricky C has gone for a leg lock! Donovan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ricky C 's guard.

Donovan stands up over Ricky C , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Ricky C manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Donovan manages to get himself to full guard.

Donovan has control of Ricky C 's left arm, preventing Ricky C from doing any damage.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ricky C has eaten all the pies!

Ricky C wants to stand but Donovan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ricky C fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Donovan sprawls well initially but Ricky C persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Donovan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ricky C wants to control from the top but Donovan keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Donovan tries a head kick but it misses.
Ricky C will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Donovan quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Donovan tries to clinch but Ricky C moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ricky C ! But no joy.
Ricky C throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Donovan colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Ricky C as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Donovan is left battered and dazed whilst Ricky C and his camp cheer!
