Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Madson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Cousteau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Dusty Madson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques Cousteau!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madson misses with a body shot.
Cousteau swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Cousteau throws a body punch but Madson moves out of range.
Madson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cousteau.
A looping hook to the body misses from Madson. Cousteau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cousteau throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cousteau throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Madson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Madson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Madson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cousteau's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cousteau escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Madson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cousteau throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Madson escapes and throws Cousteau's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Cousteau looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That was a close round but I would say that Dusty Madson will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cousteau has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cousteau there as he acknowledges the shot.

Madson throws a lazy right hand but Cousteau sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cousteau.
Cousteau tries to throw a body punch but Madson avoids it by throwing Cousteau back against the cage.
Cousteau has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Madson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Madson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Madson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cousteau backwards.

Madson wants the takedown. Cousteau is fighting it off but Madson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cousteau's guard against the cage.
Madson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cousteau is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Madson is working Cousteau over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cousteau sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Madson's guard.

Cousteau is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Madson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

In his post fight interview, Jacques Cousteau started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
