Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pozar Pozar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Pahlm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pozar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to z Buta Wjeżdzam. Pahlm is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Peace Love & Pitbulls - Dog Church . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pozar Pozar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johan Pahlm!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pozar or perhaps it was just good defense by Pahlm, which made it look bad.
Pahlm cracks Pozar with a good jab.
Pozar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pahlm changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pahlm.
Pozar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pozar Pozar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pahlm lands a jab.
Pozar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pahlm is fending him off so far but Pozar persists. Nope, Pahlm circles away and we're back to standing.
Pahlm wants to counter with a clinch but Pozar pushes him away.
Pahlm displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pozar.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Pahlm.


It looks like Pozar Pozar has been cut.
Pozar avoids the elbow strike from Pahlm, against the cage.

Pozar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pozar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pozar trying to keep a closed guard but Pahlm is proving a slippery customer.
Pahlm has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at LOD - Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pozar throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pahlm uses it to pass to side control.

Pozar manages to get back to half guard.

Pahlm seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Pozar wants to improve his position but Pahlm is controlling well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pozar is trying to get back to full guard.
Pozar wants to control but Pahlm is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Pahlm with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Pozar gets back to full guard.
Pozar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pahlm controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Pozar takes one on the button.
Pozar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pahlm sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pozar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pahlm wants to counter the offense by Pozar and move into the clinch position.
Pozar goes for a double leg but Pahlm avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pahlm continues to drive forward.
Pozar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pahlm is fending him off so far but Pozar persists. Nope, Pahlm circles away and we're back to standing.
Pahlm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pozar circles away quickly and effectively.
Pozar throws a big counter combination but Pahlm scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Pozar shoots in but no luck this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Pahlm lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pozar at a distance.
Pahlm cracks Pozar with a right hand to the side of the head.

Pahlm takes the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johan Pahlm dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pozar Pozar's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Pahlm connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pozar. Pozar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Pozar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pahlm but Pahlm pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pahlm plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Johan Pahlm seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pozar looks for a takedown but Pahlm sprawls well.
Pahlm scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


Pozar is rocked!
Pahlm paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oh Pozar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pozar shoots in for a double leg but Pahlm sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pozar Pozar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pahlm scores with a nice right hand.
Pahlm is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pozar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Look low, kick high! Pahlm uses the oldest trick in the book to send Pozar tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Pahlm is absolutely delighted - when Pozar wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Johan Pahlm!
