The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
France is staying active underneath Hao, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Hao has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Lu Hao gave a big smile as he said 'I can sing and dance, but this is much better for my health. I used to be in a different mob, and they forced me to throw fights, now Yakuza and Burns make sure I win.'.
