Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Williams!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries to bum rush Kim with a series of wild strikes but Kim uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Williams misses with a head kick.
Kim throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Williams.
Kim takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses.
Kim looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kim pivots, looking for a leg kick but Williams is out of range and Kim settles back down.
Williams jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kim throws a body kick that misses.
Williams misses with a head kick.
Kim throws a quick inside leg kick.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kim attempts a counter takedown but Williams avoids it well and moves away.
Kim thumps Williams with a low kick.
A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target.
Williams lands a head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams throws a nice inside leg kick.

Kim throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.
Williams flicks out a counter leg kick but Kim steps away.
Williams fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kim checks it well.
Kim throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Williams on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kim fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kim lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Danga de danga de dang - Williams scores with a four punch combination!
Kim throws a body kick that misses.
Kim looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kim momentarily.
Kim is looking to land body kicks.
Kim keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Williams.
Kim tries to counter with a takedown but Williams is quick to defend against it.
Kim throws a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hector Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kim pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Williams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Roberto Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kim connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Williams misses with a wild body shot.
Kim misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Williams looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kim is looking to chop away at Williams's legs.
Kim tries to work over Williams's front leg with a kick but Williams checks it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kim.

Williams looks for the body kick but Kim saw that one coming.
Kim drops down looking for a counter takedown but Williams sprawls and moves away.
Kim bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Williams's head backwards.

Kim closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Roberto Kim has been cut.
Kim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kim throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams avoids the head kick by Kim.
Kim looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range.
Williams flicks out a counter leg kick but Kim steps away.
Kim's corner calls for a 1-2. Kim obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Williams counters with a right hand to the body.
Kim looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range.
Kim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Kim!
Williams's corner calls for a 1-2. Williams obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Williams dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kim. That did some damage!

Kim is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kim throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
It seemed like Williams was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kim looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Kim lands a head kick!
Williams pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Williams cracks a nice hook into Kim's ribs.
Kim throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Williams buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Williams moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Williams swings for the body but Kim moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kim does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Williams moves into range and connects with a jab.


Kim is rocked!
Williams drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kim right on the button. Kim goes down! Williams follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Williams gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Williams!
Our winner, Hector Williams, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
