He tries to recover but Jenova pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sweeney is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After the fight, Holy Jenova was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Declan Sweeney stepped up to the mic, saying 'It feels so good to get a big victory tonight, I want to thank my sponsors, my fans my fam....... Hey what??? What do you mean I didn't win??? This is an outrage!!'.
