The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrick avoids the body shot from Chuvalo.
Fredrick throws an off balance right hand
and Chuvalo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A telegraphed right hand from Fredrick misses the target.
Chuvalo thuds his right hand into Fredrick's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Fredrick buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Fredrick has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fredrick there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fredrick walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Chuvalo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Chuvalo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Chuvalo has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

and Chuvalo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Chuvalo has Fredrick up against the cage in a clinch.
Fredrick prevents a takedown attempt there.
Chuvalo lands a nice uppercut.

Fredrick looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Chuvalo struggles to land a body shot inside as Fredrick controls his hands.

Chuvalo swings wildly with an uppercut but Fredrick uses good head movement to avoid it.

Chuvalo can't find room to land a body shot as Fredrick controls the action.

Fredrick breaks the clinch.
Chuvalo looks to land a left hand but Fredrick moved out of range nicely.
Chuvalo lands a nice hook to Fredrick's body. Fredrick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fredrick lands a high kick to the side of Chuvalo's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Fredrick dives into guard, looking to finish.

Chuvalo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fredrick not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Oh Chuvalo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chuvalo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fredrick dives into side control.
Chuvalo seems a little lost for a moment, as Fredrick dominates the positioning.

Chuvalo tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Fredrick loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Chuvalo scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Fredrick land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Fredrick stands and salutes the crowd.
