Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Shane Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ruarc Harris!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris with a poor takedown
and Walker counters with a good low kick that Harris was not able to check.
Walker just misses with a punch to the body.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A solid leg kick lands there for Walker.

Harris clinches with his opponent.

Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Walker looks for the body kick but Harris saw that one coming.
Harris tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Walker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Harris tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Walker counters with a two punch combo.
Walker connects with a crisp jab.
Walker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KO Gym in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Walker lands a big right hand that sends Harris crashing to the mat! Walker stays standing though and waves Harris back to his feet!

Walker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Harris's sensitive parts.
Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Walker finish him?

Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walker.
Harris seems to have recovered his senses.
Harris is looking to clinch.
Walker is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Walker slaps away a takedown attempt from Harris, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Harris tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Walker avoids it.
Walker lands with a light punch inside.


It looks like Ruarc Harris has been cut.
Harris blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Walker prevents a takedown attempt there.
Shane Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruarc Harris.

Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Harris walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Walker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Walker misses with a body kick.

Harris gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Walker lands a nice shot to the body.
Walker lands a knee to the head.
Walker will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Harris up against the cage.
Harris tries to work over Walker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A nice right hand lands inside from Walker.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Walker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Harris has managed to clinch.
Walker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Harris.
A short left from Walker.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Harris displaying some good clinch control by pressing Walker up against the cage.
Walker stalls.

Walker doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Walker as Harris tries to tie him up.
Walker trying to stall but Harris improves his position.

Walker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harris slips under a jab from Walker.
Harris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harris misses with a double jab
and Walker makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Walker swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris.
Harris is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.

Harris tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range.

As Harris backs away, Walker returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Harris closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Walker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Walker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walker wants it to stay on the feet.
Walker throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.
Walker defending well as Harris loads up on a big left hand.
Walker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Walker throws a quick counter kick to the body but Harris avoids it.
Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Walker dodges the punch combination from Harris.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Walker dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Harris swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Walker connects with an inside leg kick.

Walker rushes Harris and presses him up against the cage.

Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Harris throws a series of punches but Walker moves out of range.
Harris throws a jab when Walker was well out of range.
Harris wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.

As Harris backs away, Walker returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Walker rushes Harris and presses him up against the cage.
Walker digs a right hand underneath Harris's ribcage. Harris let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Shane Walker has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Walker has Harris pressed against the cage, preventing Harris from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Walker scores with a shoulder strike.

Walker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Walker fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Walker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Harris.
Harris moves forwards but Walker connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Walker cracks Harris with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Harris looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Walker finish him?

and Walker counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

During a confident post fight interview, Shane Walker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Ruarc Harris stepped up to the mic, saying 'I lost this match because i had a injured heart you see someone ran over my dog earlier today. If it where not for that i would have kicked this guys ass.'.
