Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearts gets a double leg takedown into Barry's guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hearts working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Barry is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hearts slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hearts throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barry wants to stand up but Hearts is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hearts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hearts controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hearts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Hearts misses with a body punch
and Barry counters with a three punch combo that has Hearts backing up. Hearts nods at Barry to acknowledge the strikes.

Hearts throws a series of punches but Barry moves out of range.

Hearts scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barry doesn't seem bothered though.
Barry looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hearts showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Barry.
Barry looks to land a body kick but Hearts moved away.
Hearts feints the counter takedown.
Hearts ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hearts missing with a left hand there. Barry was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hearts misses with a lunging right hand
and Barry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hearts throws a hook but Barry avoids it easily.
Barry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hearts lands a leg kick that knocks Barry off balance momentarily.
Hearts doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hearts jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Barry drops his hands momentarily and Hearts takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hearts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hearts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barry sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hearts just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBarry.
Barry misses with a head kick.
Hearts might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Barry takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Barry scores with a jab to the head.
Babadou Barry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barry tries a head kick but it misses.
Hearts fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Barry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hearts moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hearts misses the shot to the body.
Barry lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hearts is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Hearts throws a body shot but no joy.
Hearts throws a leg kick
and Barry counters with a straight right hand.
Barry throws out a loose jab but Hearts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Barry misses with a low kick.
Hearts misses with an uppercut.
Hearts scores with a takedown into Barry's guard.

Hearts landing some decent shots from guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hearts seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A close round but TJ Hearts will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Barry misses with a low kick as Hearts jumps back.
Hearts changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hearts looks to land a left hand but Barry moved out of range nicely.
Barry throws a leg kick but Hearts sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Barry wants to slow Hearts down by chopping away at his legs.
Barry throws a sloppy head kick
and Hearts counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hearts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hearts passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The referee asks Hearts politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hearts prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hearts in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Barry takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Hearts scores with a couple of short elbows.
Hearts lands a strong strike to the head of Barry. That's dazed him! Hearts looking to finish here. Barry is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Hearts lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
